Delete your Laeeto account and data

The easiest way: in the app
The app is in Arabic; the button labels are shown as they appear.
- Open the app and tap حسابي (My account) in the bottom bar.
- Scroll to the end and tap امسح حسابي (Delete my account).
- Tap ابعتلي كود التأكيد (Send me the code). A code is sent to your number by WhatsApp or SMS.
- Enter the code and tap امسح حسابي نهائي (Delete my account for good).
The account is deleted immediately, and your files are removed from storage shortly after.
Without the app
Uninstalled the app or can't open it? No problem:
- E-mail support@laeeto.app with the phone number of your account.
- We send a one-time code to that number (WhatsApp or SMS).
- Reply to our e-mail with the code.
- We delete the account and confirm it, within one month at the latest.
The code proves the number is yours, so nobody can delete someone else's account.
What is deleted
- Your phone number, name, governorate, city and notification settings.
- Prescription photos, voice notes and any other files you uploaded.
- Your open requests are cancelled.
- Badges, community-service certificates and thank-you messages.
- All login sessions and push tokens, so you are signed out on every device.
What is kept, and why
- Your past closed requests stay without any data about you: only the medicine fields and the request timeline, for aggregated shortage statistics.
- Records that other users' history depends on (such as a pharmacy check result or a report) stay, unlinked from you.
- An internal record that the account was deleted and when, and any limited records the law requires us to keep.
None of this identifies you. Before deletion, the normal retention periods apply: prescription photos and voice notes are deleted 30 days after a request closes, and closed requests are unlinked from your account after 1 year.
Deletion cannot be undone. If you later sign in with the same number, it will be a new account.
